Steam press operator — Payne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Payne County, Oklahoma. The job is in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
