We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Augusta County, Virginia. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing The role involves clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
