Urgent requirement: fettler (Niger State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Agaie, Niger State. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Meals and transport allowance provided.
