We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread baker in Pulaski County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
