Gardener wanted in Lake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gardener in Lake County, Oregon. You will be based at a plant nursery. On the job you will handle: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred.
