Stainless steel welder wanted in Toro

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Toro, Bauchi State. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
