Join our team: we are hiring a plasterer in Lee County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
