Join our team: ceiling and wall plasterer (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Pope County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day 4+ years on the tools preferred.
