Great opportunity: D6/D8 dozer operator (Wales)

Join our team: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Newport, Wales. The job is at a busy earthworks site. What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain On the job you will handle: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
