Packaging worker • Sonitpur, Assam

Vacancy available: we are hiring a packaging worker in Sonitpur, Assam. What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg • Able to follow health and safety procedures Day-to-day duties: • Separate rejects and re-pack faulty units • Stack and arrange goods onto pallets for dispatch • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams • Wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Record production counts on the shift sheet At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₹950 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
