Lathe operator wanted in Ogu Bolo

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Ogu Bolo, Rivers State. What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings The role involves: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature Overtime paid at a premium rate.
