Lawn care technician — Ijebu North

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Ijebu North, Ogun State. The job is in a botanical garden. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors On the job you will handle: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
