Urgent requirement: furniture maker (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Patrick County, Virginia. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. Day to day you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience 3+ years on the tools preferred.
