Now hiring: we are hiring a cook in Scott County, Missouri. The job is at a fast-food outlet. On a typical shift you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. Ideal candidate: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Six days a week, one day off.
