Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Monroe County, Illinois. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
