Urgent requirement: head baker (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Accomack County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens On the job you will handle: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
