Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Dougherty County, Georgia. You will work in a public park. Day to day you will mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
