Prep cook — Webster County

Now hiring: we are hiring a prep cook in Webster County, Iowa. You will work at a roadside dhaba. Day to day you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure 1+ years on the tools preferred.
