Port container crane operator — Baldwin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Baldwin County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
