Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Nottinghamshire, England. You will be based at an open-cast mine. The role involves spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience.
