Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Crawford County, Kansas. The job is on a housing development site. You should have: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Day-to-day duties: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Six days a week, one day off.
