Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in York County, Virginia. The job is at an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
