Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
