Great opportunity: we are hiring a gardener in Jefferson County, Washington. Your main tasks: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance 4+ years on the tools preferred.
