Groundsman — Ethiope West

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Ethiope West, Delta State. You will work at a plant nursery. Your main tasks: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around ₦175,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
