Garden maintenance worker • Allen County, Indiana

Now hiring: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Allen County, Indiana. You will work on a golf course. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds Rotating shifts.
