Immediate opening: shuttering carpenter (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Pinellas County, Florida. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. Your main tasks: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
