Head butcher — Mercer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head butcher in Mercer County, Ohio. Day to day you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
