Now hiring: garden maintenance worker (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Scott County, Iowa. You will work at a private estate garden. Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Happy to work outdoors in all weather 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
