Join our team: we are hiring a tile mason in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. You will be based on a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts On a typical shift you will apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
