Rough terrain crane operator — Fairfax County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Fairfax County, Virginia. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
