We are recruiting: we are hiring a waitress in Dorset, England. The job is at a banquet hall. You will upsell starters, desserts and beverages; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery. You should have: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts 4+ years on the tools preferred.
