Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Stephenson County, Illinois. Day to day you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
