Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Kankia, Katsina State. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders 2+ years on the tools preferred.
