Kitchen cook wanted in Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Washington County, Texas. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Full-time, day shift.
