Sand plant operator wanted in Bongaigaon

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Bongaigaon, Assam. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
