Site dozer operator • Nassau County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Nassau County, New York. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. On the job you will handle: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems 3+ years on the tools preferred. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
