Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Nottingham, England. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Your main tasks: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
