Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence On the job you will handle: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
