Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Essien Udim, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day-to-day duties: • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
