Urgent requirement: we are hiring a food and beverage server in Kwami, Gombe State. The job is at a banquet hall. Ideal candidate: • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Day-to-day duties: • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
