Now hiring: lawn care technician (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Ross County, Ohio. You will be based in a botanical garden. Day-to-day duties: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Full-time with occasional weekends.
