Press setter operator — Fife

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press setter operator in Fife, Scotland. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. The role involves watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
