VMC operator • Darlington, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Darlington, England. You will be based at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits.
