Nursery worker — Macon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a nursery worker in Macon County, Georgia. The job is in a botanical garden. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage You will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades.
