We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Surrey, England. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
