Groundsman — Loup County

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Loup County, Nebraska. You will work at a private estate garden. What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish The role involves: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
