Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Rotating shifts.
