Counter butcher — Yala

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Yala, Cross River State. Your main tasks: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Full-time with occasional weekends.
