Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Brazos County, Texas. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
